We contacted Econoport in 2014 for a quotation to erect a carport. We clearly stipulated our requirements to them.
Despite their quote stating a delivery time frame of +-4 weeks, they only arrived after 10 weeks
2. Upon arriving, they did not have the correct color of roof sheets, nor the correct facia width, nor the correct layout, and had to dismantle the structure
3. After 16 weeks, they had not been able to deliver on my order, and informed me that they might be able to sometime in Dec (i.e after 20+ weeks).
This clearly constituted a breach of contract, and we requested them to refund my deposit of R6238. They paid parts of the deposit back to us over a 2 year period, and to date still owe us R1500 which they are refusing to pay. THey ignore sms's emails, phone calls, etc.
Please spare yourself the frustration in dealing with such a terrible company.
