We submitted a claim and were informed that Classens Home Improvements were contracted to fix it. It was for repairs to a ceiling. When they came, I was not at the house. When I arrived they were just about to finish. I then saw that they took down over 100 framed photos from my walls. Photos that took 3 days to get hanged professionally as I wanted them to fit into a square shape. Needless to say, no one thought of taking a photo to ensure that each photo would go back to its original place. I am now sitting with about 50 photos that no one can fit back onto the wall as the spaces are too small. I will now have to hire another person to take out the existing nails, repaint the walls and hang them AGAIN. I was told that they needed to remove the photos to prevent paint that might fall on them... but the heavy portrait right below the area was left hanging and the paint that dripped on my rails were left... I was also told that they will get back to me in terms of the way forward... Well, I'm still waiting...
