It is for the following reasons I suggest anyone wanting to use Mathews Aluminium for doors and frames be warned of what might occur. As their prices are not cheap one would expect some sort of quality which I have not received.
1. Four months to install two doors and frames, still not complete.
2. One of the doors was made too small then to big. It had to be installed three times, still not complete.
3. Poor workmanship, managed to rip the awning above the door. All I received was "sorry". Glass panels in one door are marked. During their third attempt to fit one of the doors more scratches occured.
4. Change appointments and do not tell the customer.
5. I was offered a discount to accept their poor work but refused in lieu of them installing the doors and frames correctly. Due to the length of time I have waited, I can only assume Mathews have no intention of returning to complete my job.
6. They operate under the Association of Architectural Aluminium Manufactures of S.A. but do not meet the specifications of the above.
