Insurance company unhappy with jo

On 1 Jan 2013 I had a burst geyser.
On 2 Jan, Peter the Plumber replaced it.
I purchased the geyser.
For labour only (less than 2 hours) he charged R3400.
My plumber who was on holiday would have charged R2000.
Subsequently the insurance assessor/inspector plumber came to ensure standards of installation were met.
There were 7 items listed of non-compliance.
Peter insisted on further approximately R1500 to meet their requirements.
I refused to pay extra for him to do a job that meets acceptable standards.
I have emailed, sms'd, faxed him and physically posted a letter of dissatisfaction in his postbox- no response.
