ESC installed a laminate floor. Tiles were removed to accommodate the laminate which abutts the remaining tiles. At no point during installation were we made aware of a problem. A strip connecting the laminate to the tiles had to be relaid. No mention of a problem. Three months later the same strip lifted. ESC came back. No mention of a problem. They said an aluminium strip would work better, but we would have to pay. Nikolai Stoikof, the quoter who never came near our house again, told us our tiles had been incorrectly laid which caused serious problems for the laminate installers so we would have to carry the cost. Why were we not informed of the problem at the time? His answer: he is sure we wouldn't have "ripped up the tiles" and relaid!! ESC installed a product (which we paid for) which they KNEW wouldn't work because of a problem THEY NEVER TOLD US ABOUT. When that product failed, we had to pay for the product which they should have advised us to install in the first place (and which we would happily have paid for at the time). We refused. They offered a new laminate strip at no cost and no guarantee. No thanks. We will pay another company with integrity to fix the problem
