On the 2 Sept 2013 one of the employees of Salie Roofing dropped a metal knife onto my vehicle, from a two story flat.
They never informed the people of working overhead, and no signs put up or nothing. After an argument with the foreman, he told me there was to many vehicles in the road to inform. There was in total two cars, one was mine, the other a colleagues. Our office is across the road from the flats, and the colleagues vehicle has the company logo on the back. But two vehicles was, according to him, "to much"
I spoke to the owner, and he said I must get a quote and he will pay. So the next week I called him with quotes and mailed. Never responded to this, and had to phone a week later. His excuse now is that and I quote: "HE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS EMPLOYEES, AND CAN NOT BABYSIT THEM"
I have had the vehicle fixed through insurance, and will revert to legal procedures to get the money from him. This is just to warn when using this company, next time it might be a kid, or property of yours that gets damaged, and this is Mr Salie attitude. Rather save yourself the possible lawsuits and use someone else!!!
