I needed to paint the outside of my boundary wall in my complex. I was given a quote and accepted it. 18 months later the paint is peeling off the wall. When I contacted Hein, I was told that the painting of my wall was not guaranteed as I had not damp proofed the other side of the wall. It was never communicated to me that I needed to damp proof the other side of the wall to ensure the painting done by Hein would last longer than 18 months. If this was communicated, I would have ensured that both sides of the wall were damp proofed. It is now 18 months later after paying to have the one side of the wall damp proofed and painted and I am in the exact same position. I think this is very unprofessional.
