I contracted this company to do some building work at my premises, namely to build garages, finish driveway, swimming pool, and some paving around the house and pool. The job started in March/April 2012 and was supposed to be finished 3 months later. Every two weeks we had a meeting where the builder asked to be paid some funds to proceed with the work. This was always paid immediately. At the beginning of September 2012 the job was not near completion, with many delays in the supply of materials which he always assured me that had been paid. On the Wednesday the 19th of September the builder never came to site, and simply disappear and never came back. He has not been seen in the area since then, having left his residence with immediate effect after that. I then found out that some of the deposits I had paid him for some suppliers were never paid, the sub-contractors working on site were not paid for 5 weeks, and I was left with a debt of approx. R 70, 000.00. Various letters where sent to him by my attorneys, but he simply ignored them. Please do not do business with this!
