A few months ago, we hired Gilpens Shadefix to tear down all our old carports and erect new ones in its place. They started immediately and was working great. However, they asked for 3 separate payments in 3 months. 8 weeks ago. They stopped worked claiming that their where issues with the suppliers and promised to continue in a weeks time. It has been 8 weeks now, and no work as continued, instead the owner has bought a B&B in the cape and moved down there.
I have contacted him on numerous occasions asking him what is happening and when will the work continue, and everytime, I get this week excuse.
We have paid Gilpins Shadefix 75% of the total cost, yet more than 50% of the work remains. I find this contract very dishonest and unprofessional.
