Failure to deliver goods on receiving payment

We signed a quote to order a new kitchen & main bedroom cupboards with P & N Designer House CC T/A KBS Kitchens on the 06/06/2013. We were verbally told that it would take - 4 to 6 weeks for installation of our new dream kitchen, that would be around mid Jul'13. The terms & conditions of payment were pretty much the same as everywhere else - it specified 50% deposit, which we duly paid the following day and 40% upon delivery before installation (that's delivery of the carcasses) which after having received photo's sent by Shenaaz of the carcasses being installed we again duly paid the next amount. When we got home we discovered that only part of the carcasses were installed, not all of them. From here on out this business transaction just became more and more unpleasant. After the 2nd payment (they now have 90% of our money over R50000) all communication died off, no more phone calls, e-mails or visits from them. My husband paid them a surprise visit at their premises and that did not even help! It's now been 11 weeks and we are still struggling to get commitment for an installation date! It's absolutely ridiculous and all this while we are living without a kitchen!
