We decided to use Kelbrick purely for the fact that they are a SABS approved company. They wanted all the money upfront for a turnkey project and convinced us that we are protected by their contract which states that no money will be paid to the installers, Munroe Roofing until we have signed a document stating that we are satisfied with the work provided. We never signed such a document but the funds were paid over after numerous phone calls and emails were exchanged in which we expressed our dissatisfaction. They treated us as if they did us a favour. John can never be reached and when you do manage to get him on the phone, he is condescending and does not accept liability for shoddy work, inferior product quality and installation. It makes one think... is an approved SABS manufacturer/supplier still a benchmark that one can go by??? Maybe not.
