I ordered some sliding folding doors from Gustav of Shorea Carpentry Projects back in October last year. Once the company was verified we paid over our 50% deposit of R6000. We were told by Gustav himself the doors would be installed in late November/early December. When it came closer to the time he started with the excuses that they were still busy making the doors, week after week after week, the same story. In January we realised that these doors had not even been manufactured and that he had to us all along and used our money to cover his Christmas bonuses. We have since only managed to get back R3000 of our money from him and are still fighting to get the remainder. He's always got some sob story and was even near tears at one stage.
