We ordered bricks from Corobrik Lawley, the payment of the bricks were made speedily and the bricks that were delivered were not up to standard, they were brittle and breaking as paving was laid. The company was contacted and asked to come out to check the bricks and this was delayed. Lewellyn stated that he cannot come out to check the bricks and that he could not leave the office but will send someone out to check the paving bricks. Someone eventually came out and this guy in particular Andries Mathebula was someone from another company in Mayerton. this means the bricks that were supplied and paid for were not from Corobrik. we then asked for a refund on the bricks from Corobrik that were left over after laying a few of them as they were not SABS standard approved bricks. we sent in all the documentation that was requested for the refund to take place and we were told that the brick first needed to be counted before any proceedings. we waited and then had to send them our banking details as well as a copy of the company owners Identity Document. we have been contacting them for about six weeks already and still nothing. Lewellyn keeps on promising that payment will be made.
