I called Acer to repair a fault with my Laptop, I was told it needs repair and someone will come and collect it. The Laptop has an intermittent fault where it makes noise if you close the Laptop without shutting it down if you have a running program. Acer collected the item and after 2 weeks without hearing back from them I called, only to be told I need to pay them because the Laptop has no fault. This Laptop has all my files, I don't think anyone in their right mind would expect me to send something without a fault. Acer won't try to simply reproduce the fault all they want is money before they can release my Laptop without even repairing it. I would have expected a simply call from the technician who looked at the Laptop to ask for more information if they did not understand the reason why the laptop was sent for repairs. This is disgusting coming from a company like Acer.
