Pre-ordered the new SimCity game, so no information was available on the product at the time, I have all the previous versions of the product so naturally I expected a similar product. I collected the game on Friday 08.03.2013, only to realise that one needs a permanent Internet connection to play the game. I contacted BT Games to find out if I could exchange the game for a similar product that does not need a permanent Internet connection, my request was blatantly refused, the stipulated that PC games were not exchangeable, despite their returns policy not stating this fact. I would have appreciated them to disclose this fact about the product prior to finalisation of the transaction. The packaging does state this vaguely and in FINE PRINT. Not happy at all, I feel it is the sales persons responsibility to ensure that the customer is properly informed about the product requirements especially when permanent Internet connection required, similar to the PS games that specify this fact clearly.
