My old MacBook crashed - took it to DigiCape to be repaired, cost about R1500. I collected when ready - took it home - wouldn't work. I spent ages trying to work out why and then realised I needed the disk that had come with the computer to be able to start up again. The disk had been in the computer when I took it to DigiCape but when I checked it was gone.

So I had to go back to DigiCape to get my disk - they looked but had lost my disk! (And since it was an older model it wasn't possible to get a copy of the disk) After waiting for ages they said there was nothing they could do - I was very angry so eventually they agreed to upgrade the mac so that they could use another disk to start it up. I was then happy to finally have the computer working again.

But then a few weeks later my mom needed a new battery for her MacBook. I took it in and they said they would have to look at it (despite me saying it needed a new battery as this was the case!)

They said it would be R500 just to look at the computer! I was so annoyed and took it elsewhere - got a new battery right away - how can they try and charge R500 to tell me what I already know! Very annoying and such a waste of my time!
