Reported laptop overheating on 7/11/13. Waited on 8th for technician since Dell has a 24 hour policy. No communication from them. Monday received call from Charlotte that technician will call that day. At 4pm Alan arrived replaced fan, motherboard and palm rest. After he left switched on laptop only blue and pink screen couldnt access any programmes. Received call from call centre in India who contacted Jhb. Charlotte called on 13/11 and made arrangements for Allan to return with another motherboard. Again waited on Monday 18th-no Alan. Yesterday Charlotte called after call centre in India escalated my request and said Alan would come by the afternoon. It is now Wednesday phoned Dell H/O spoke to Yasser who has still not called. I impressed to all who contacted me the importance of getting my laptop fixed-I run my business from home and havent contacted clients in 2 weeks because of this incompetence and.
