I have been trying to get ASUS to sort my machine out from 15/01/2013., I first booked my machine in for repairs at CRT Durban (ASUS Local repair center) on the 15/01/2013, Was told that the mother board was faulty and that a new one was to be ordered from overseas. During the interim i took my machine home to use and noticed that a screws was missing from the bottom casing. the company had worked on my machine and they have no knowledge of where the screws are. I also noticed that the hinge on the left side is loose and when i open the screen i am afraid that the hinge might break. A month later the mother board arrived and apparently it was also faulty and another one had to be ordered which would take another month. I then contacted Lawrence Pillay, the ASUS service manager and explained the situation to him, he assured me that ASUS would take care of it. A month later I tried to contact him but apparently he no longer works for ASUS.On the 11 June 2013, A Mr. Alan Cheng then contacted me to say that my machine was not booked in for repairs and he will find out and contact me back. I am still waiting!! I am so disgusted with the level of service!! ASUS IS!!!
