Having returned a hire car to Europcar on Friday April 12, I'm still waiting for my deposit to be refunded to my account (it's now April 17)!
The excuse is that they rely on a merchant bank to process their invoices and it takes a minimum of 48 hours to generate the paperwork and get it sent to the [URL Removed] on Europcar, get with the times!!! You insist on an up-front deposit before car collection... don't hang on to our money so you can gain interest... are you actually a banking institution??? I'm disgusted with the sklow accounting process!
