I wanted to purchase a car at this dealership and he wanted me to let him do the finance himself when my bank had already approved my application. When I sent the OTP to Standard Bank and the bank sent him a mail asking for the VAT invoice, he ignored the bank. I recieved a call from ABSA who wanted confirmation of my details as he (Philly Sithole) had submitted the application on my behalf. ABSA advised me that an additional R10 000.00 was added to the quote which I had not agreed to. I called Philly Sithole and asked him, he just denied that.
I followed up with Standard Bank about the progress of my application and was advised that the deal is on hold as they are waiting for the invoice from Philly Sithole, I then sent him (philly sithole) an email requesting the vat invoice. He called me to tell me that the car had already been sold when it was still on the floor. The reason why he refused to let me purchase the car is because i had done the finance application myself and he could not cheat and add this R10 000.00 which he had added to ABSA.
People be careful when you allow the dealerships to do finance on your behalf.
