I have purchased a brand new Fiat punto 1.2 2012 model from the cmh fiat umhlanga in feb 2012. I have had numerous complaints regarding the shudder in my vehicle and all with failed attempts to solve it.its been reported to Fiat SA & they state the car is performing according to manufacturers specs. So basically a shudder is stated as being part of Fiat specs so they claim. I was told that this was final and that was it. I told them I'm taking it up with my attorney and they said they will re look at it, so from last year I'm still waiting for them to get back to me
