On 31/01/2013 I took delivery of a used Polo Vivo 1.4 Trendline Hatchback. When I got home I saw that the license disk would expire the next day, I phoned the the sales rep and told him about it and he said that the registration would be done before the 21 day grace period would be over.
After the 21/02/2013 I drove back to Pretoria to go and fetch a permit for the car because the registration was not done yet. The sales rep told me that the traffic department in Pretoria was on strike and that their is a back log of application. On Sunday 17/03/2013 I sent the sales rep an email stating that the permit would expire 19/03/2013.
This moring on my way to work a traffic cop stopped me for a routine check and fined me R600.00 for the license and permit that expired.
Can someone please help me to get this sorted.
