In March 2012 I bought a diesel fuel pump online from American SUV in Centurion. Payment was made and the pump arrived promptly.
I delivered the pump immediately to the repair shop in Port Elizabeth for installation in our vehicle. Long story but the pump was pronounced faulty. Another long story and the car was released, still not fixed. I decided to go back to American SUV and ask them to test the pump. No problem they said. This is almost a year later!!!
I sent the pump to American SUV and their workshop pronounced that the pump had been dismantled and they didn't feel they should be held responsible. BUT they would still replace the pump. 'Just send a courier to collect a replacement' said Chino.
Now, in this sorry story of our family being robbed and said car causing a string of problems with the recovered car, American SUV's no fuss attitude in replacing the pump is such a fantastic gesture. I didn't ask, they simply offered. FANTASTIC STUFF!!!
