Payment demanded for a car service that was not do

On friday the 8th March 2013, my 2004 Daihatsu Cuore was taken to Daihatsu Skinner street in Pretoria for a full major service. Around 14h00 on that day, I was called by a lady called Gina, who told me that my car was ready and serviced but did not change the plugs, petrol filter and air filter as they did not have stock. That I must pay the full R2500.00 and they will call me as soon as the stock was available.
When I asked what the money was for and what they actually did to the car, Gina started getting impatient but couldn't give me a straight answer. Finally she told that they only changed the oil and the oit filter and performed a diagnosis check up on the breaks and clutch.

I was requested to pay R1500.00 for the work done on the car, which was changing the oit and the oil filter. When I complained they said there was nothing they could do otherwise I wont get my car back. I was then transfered to the mechanic who worked on the car and he told me the same thing. When I asked him what a major service required he told me about the braeks and the clutch. I asked him whether the fan and cam belts were checked and he said no. What did I pay for??? Please help
