On the 4th Jan 13, I collected a hired car through my insurance and paid the R750-00 using my credit card. On the 9th Jan 13 I received an sms notice that an amount of R17-21 was taken on credit card. Today 14th Jan 13 another sms notice of R17-61 was received again. I phone their call centre and the branch why are these unauthorized amount charged, I got a lousy respond of that they are checking whether is my credit card is still valid.` When I question them since you have withheld the R750-00, is that not proof enough. This is a total rip-off because everyweek they going to charge the above amounts on top of the R750-00. So the longer you hire the car the more u will be charged. Note: This was never explained to me (credit act) had i known I would have paid hard cash, No wonder they don't accept any other card so as to make more money.

Another note: If you pay the R750-00 with a cheque card it takes 4 weeks for your held money to be reversed WHY? But if you use credit card it takes a week. So this is a catch.
