My insurance, Auto and General (A &G) arranged rental vehicle with Budget while mine was tended to by Auto Magic Centurion (AM Cent.). Budget rental vehicle was returned to premises of AM Cent. while I collected mine as per arrangement with A &G, Budget and AM Cent. on Thurs afternoon - 28/2/13. AM Cent said they will call Budget to collect.
Heard nothing on Fri., phoned Budged Centurion to confirm collection of vehicle and return of deposit. Joseph confirmed that AM Cent. did not inform them that vehicle was ready for collection. Xabi (Budget) phoned back shortly afterwards and confirmed same. Said she will attend and respond soonest. I have tried following up but have not heard from A &G or Budget.
As mentioned to Yateen Lala (A &G team leader), Raul Lima (AM Cent. owner) and Xabi (Budget Cent. manager) I am concerned. The vehicle was handed over in condition as received and with a full tank of petrol but AM Cent signed nothing at handover and Budget has not confirmed collection and inspection so who takes responsibility for what happens to the rental in the meantime? Last but not least, I require my deposit back hence urgent attendance will be appreciated.
