Hello Peter,
I had the following work done, during Lexus scheduled maintenance, and now on three successive occasions, experienced the deterioration of the vehicle.
- Had front discs and brake pads replaced, rather than having the discs skimmed, and well now they screech and the new brake pads knock back and forth, when you move forward or reverse. Agent says they can do nothing about it, but they are aware of the problem with Lexus.
- Had a rear calliper replaced, and now it shows signs of discolouration from overheating. The agent says the fact that my wheels are so clean is proof that I washed the car with a detergent that caused the discolouration, on the new brake calliper. All the others are however unchanged.
- I had the oil changed in the gear box at 180 000 Km's, which they said was unnecessary but admitted would do no harm, and now the vehicle shudders from what seems gear change problems.
Must say, none of these problems existed prior to the repair work. So far each service, and specifically part replacement maintenance, my vehicle is deteriorates, to the point where I no longer believe my vehicle is road worthy or safe to drive, and that because of OEM maintenance
