I stopped at the filling SASOL station & asked for R150.00 diesel. When I stopped there, it was registered that I'm left with 49km to fill the tank. Thabang, petrol attendant, filled diesel and it read R150.05 for 12.15L. I switched the engine on & there was no sign to show that fuel was poured. I immediately called Thabang & told him that everytime before I fill the tank I note down the mileage travelled & readings on distance left to fill the tank. He told me that it will show as I drive. I explained that I drive a brand new bakkie which has never given me problems. He then called Mr Moola, the manager, who said that his pumps are serviced monthly & it was not possible that his employees could rob me. I took his numbers, drove to PTA East, came back & filled the tank at his garage again at 20h22, with R150.05, using another pump. Unfortunately Mr Moola was home already. The readings were 19km to fill the tank. I asked Silence, petrol attendant, to check the readings with me before & after filling the tank. He witnessed change in readings & fuel indicator when I switched it on. I called Moola who said I can do what I want to do with the matter.
