Ill advise regarding rental car

On the 2nd of December 2012 I fetched a rental car from Avis King Shaka airport.
When i was busy booking out the vehicle I was asked whether windscreen cover should be taken out.
I had asked if this was paid for by my insurance company to which yes was the answer.
I was not advised that there would be any fees to be charged to my account

My vehicle was only repaired and returned to me on the 7th of February.
I phoned and asked Avis if i could return the vehicle at the royal hotel branch as this is more convenient.
I was not advised of any charges.

Subsequent to this i have discovered an amount of R1243.60 has been charged to my credit card.
For 66 days of windscreen cover and an additional fee for dropping the car off at another Avis.

I would have never agreed to any of these charges had I known they were for my account.
