Ive experienced the worst service ever!! i thought the ombudsman looks after the consumer but instead the consumer pays the ultimate price at the end of the day!
i applied to the ombudsman with my issue 29/05/2012 - received my referance number in October 2012! to keep me waiting for so long and on top of that still grant the dealership so many days to respond which took up 2 months worth of reminders and then they went on leave for a month.. 7 months i wait for them to do something to help me but i get a letter eventually to tell me my case has been closed!
after all the proof of emails and conversations and RECURRING issues i had to endure with the dealership regarding my car, the ombudsman get 1 email from the dealership and closes my case! the dealership compensates me for nothing while they had my car for over a month fixing issues that have been recurring for 4months and ARE STILL RECURRING!!! all the expenses are mine and the bad service is for me to put up with!!
the ombudsman never bothered to try to even understand my position nor are they eager to help.
TO EVERYONE OUT THERE - CHOOSE YOUR CARS WISELY BECAUSE THERE IS NO BACK-UP HELP COMING FROM THE OMBUDSMAN!!!
