After a test drive in a Yaris I made an offer and the sales exec of NTT Toyota Phalaborwa consulted his manager, mr Francois Strauss. The offer was declined. I emailed Strauss to confirm my offer but I did not get a response.
I then offered the selling price, via an email addressed to both mr Strauss and the sales exec. The latter replied that he would consult Strauss but after that I again did not hear back.
Despite several attempts via email, I did not receive a response on my offer from either the sales executive or Strauss.
I then called the sales executive to find out what was going on and why my emails were not answered. I found out that the car had been sold by Strauss, who had made a deal with someone else.
I called mr Strauss to ask for an explanation why:
1. He had not replied to my email, offering the selling price for the car;
2. He had not replied to my second email, asking for feedback to my offer;
3. He had not informed me when he had apparently sold the car to someone else, after I had made an offer to pay the selling price.
I was told he was out. I emailed him with above questions but until now I have never received any response whatsoever. Is this NTT policy?
