This car BX81FFGP was repaired by RENEW IT Ranburg and after seven weeks still not fixed, if it is going back to them it will be the third time.
Last year in September 2017 a severe hail storm in the Krugersdorp and Roodepoort area left a trail of damages to cars and property.
Our Mercedes Benz was one of those that were damage severely with a broken back window and golf ball size dents all over the cars body works.
There was allot of cars damage, therefore our insurer ask if I can bring the car to their premises, the assessor will be on site to assessed the car and that will speed up the claim process because it will be awhile before the assessor will be able to visit us at home.
I took the car to Integrisure and the necessary was done by the assessor, because there was so much damage, they took my car immediately to prevent further damages to the car.
The insure Integrisure immediately ordered a rental car for me to drive while my car will be repaired, I must mention to you that Integrisure is a excellent company and will refer them to any persons that looks for a insurer that is professional and that you can trust. The insure manager Herman Nagel assisting me through this ordeal and he is walking that extra mile with his customers.
The assessor informed me that we will received the best panel beater namely RENEW IT Randburg that is MERCEDES BENZ APPROVED and my car will be like new when I receive it back, everything will be newly replaced, the strips and so forth.
I was happy with that ruling and felt that it was right choice to select a Mercedes benz approved vendor.
We received the car back after 5 weeks, I don’t have the words to express my disappointment in the work that was done by a supposed to be Mercedes benz approved professional panel beater that was rated the best by standards.
I complained and took the car back after I first logged a call on a SMS line that they invite you to if you are not satisfied with the service, afterward’s I emailed Rodney Pillay the director of the company that did not bother to respond the first time. When I arrived at Renew it, I met Lana and one of the managers; they took a water marked pen walked around the car and circled everything that I pointed out to them that was wrong.
They going to take the car in and I can have it back in two days, I refused and told them if this is the quality of work that you done after 5 weeks then what can I expect after 2 days and I don’t want to bring the car back a third time, they agreed to keep the car longer and to ensure that they will rectify and repair everything that was not repaired the first time and that was as follows:
1. A rubber on the back of the bonnet was not replaced and was damage by hail storm.
2. The panel at the wipers was also damage and had a hole in the plastic panel
3. A small bubble on the right hand mud guard in the paint looks like dust under the paint or little stone, and was not properly repaired before spray painting the car
4. The white stripes and on the paint, it looks like you polished the car and did not rub it off.
On the 27 December 2017 after two weeks I received call from Lana from Renew IT come and pick up my car, I noticed that they repaired most of the problems such as; replacing the rubber beyond the bonnet, replaced the plastic cover beyond the wipers, and most of the white stripes was gone.
The front bumper is still very noticeable differ in colour of that of the rest of the car, the dust bubble is still there, and a small paint dent on the boot there is still some places that you can see that still show scratches and white stripes.
This car have to go back for the third time, I have to go to their offices many a time and it is costing money and time because I stay 30 klm from their offices.
This car was with RENEW IT for seven weeks at Renew It and is still not fixed.
