On the 29th March I was involved in an accident. My insuance arranged for a hire car at Budget which I collected on the 31st. The gentleman who helped me made the process quick, efficient and pleasant. On the night of the 31st a young man took a corner fast and wide and hit me head on (he blew over the legal limit, however the police failed to obtain a blood sample). I called Budget but could not remember who I spoke to but he arranged for the vehicle to be towed and made sure I was ok. In the days that followed I contacted Budget several times, sobbing and heartbroken. Everyone I spoke to was wonderful. Thank you Gavin Dickson for sending the accident forms to me so quickly and to William Thomason for dealing with my sobbing calls. Thank you to both of you for the kind manner in which you spoke to me and reassurance I felt after dealing with you.
There is only 1 question I would like to ask is " what happens with the R1500 cash deposit I put down for the rental car" I know I am liable for the excess. If someone could just explain to me the whole process.
