A package was sent to me on the 1st of February 2013 from Hong Kong. Everything went smooth until the package arrived in South Africa. At first there was a clearance delay so I had to phone FedEx to find out what the problem was. They lady told me there was customs vat, customs duty and clearance charges I had to pay. I confirmed with her to agree to pay this. The package was suppose to be delivered today 6th of February 2013. Today on the FedEx Website there is a delivery exception on my package. I emailed the lady that phoned me to confirm if I can make payment and she forwarded my query to [Email Removed] Up until now I haven't heard anything back from anybody after sending another email. This is totally unacceptable and putting FedEx in a very bad light. I for one will never make use of their services (or rather a lack thereof) ever again and I suggest to everybody reading this to make use of other shipping companies. Very disappointed and utterly disgusted with FedEx!
