Hired a vehicle from Avis who blocks the holding amount which I understand, after closing the RA 4 days later I get an sms from my bank that the RA amount has been debited from my account and the full holding amount has not been cleared or deposited back into my account. So now I must wait for Avis who says that its the Bank or Merchants fault... Why wasn't the amount deducted from the holding amount and then the balances then reversed??? I have had it with Avis and there pathetic service!!!
