I recently rented a car from Avis at OR Tambo airport and was quoted EUR130 for the rental from 14-19 Dec. When I received my invoice I was actually charged ZAR3535.25 (EUR256). When looking at the invoice it seems that the rental period was only for the 14-16 December, so there was obviously a admin error in setting up the contract, and I assume I have been charged penalty for late return, even though the quote was for the full period.
