On 9th October 2013 I requested info regarding the promotion running for IX35 from Midrand Hyundai.
I signed contact to purchase same on 10th October 2013, I collected the vehicle on 18th October 2013. My vehicle was given to me with a temp licence and was told I will be notified to collect by reg plates.
I had not heard back from the Dealer so I phoned and was told the Salesman who sold me the car no longer worked there. So I asked who was dealing with my car reg etc - no one could confirm this.
I drove to the Dealer to get a renewal of the temp licence again for the Holiday period and was told to come back on 2nd January 2014 for another renewal.
I have not been back again since the New Year and if I am fined by Metro I will be submitting the fines to Hyundai Midrand.
I am disappointed with the after sales received by the Branch. Hyundai South Africa are quick to phone to congratulate you on purchasing a new vehicle, however, they do not phone to inquire about the service received after the vehicle is driven off the showroom floor.
Three months and I am still waiting.
Had I known I would have purchased the Kia Sportage instead.
