Scammer posed as a paypal customer and I shipped a cellphone to him in Nigeria. Once I realised what had happened I tracked the parcel and saw it hadn't left the country. Contacted dhl and was told they can't remove it from the plane but can get it stopped in Lagos. Fair enough. Went through all the necessary procedures and got a redirection form, filled it out, sent it back and got a thank you email. I got a call from dhl and when I asked I was told it won't get to the scammer and will be sent back to me. This was the 24th of December. On the 27th I got a call from dhl telling me the package had been delivered to the scammer! Apparently an attachment wasn't sent and the package was released. Shocking!! Then he told me he would find out what happened and call me back. To this point no contact. Sent an email, tried calling the call center and no answer. Great service. Thank you dhl.
