I visited Baker Sound and Security to have my Angel Eye Headlights fitted and to solve a rear electronics problem (Back lights were not lighting up). After agreeing to leave my car at their branch and have have Mr Baker and his team take a look at the car and see if he can fit the headlights, I was told that he would call me before fitting the lights and give me a price during the course of the day. He did not do so and I called after 2pm. He says that he fitted the lights with no problem and that the back lights were working now. I asked him what the price would be, he said R650. The price was steep but I accepted. After work, I went to go pick up my car and we tested everything. I was happy and asked him if I can pay. His secretary drew up the invoice and it was totalled R1445!!! I asked him how it came to this total and he asked his secretary to explain. She did but I did not agree with it. There was an odd silence after she explained and I just ended up paying for it. I can't believe he more than doubled the price... I was asked R350 to fit my entire sound system of 2 12" Subs, 2 6X9s, 2 Amps and 2 front speakers at Soundmatch... Baker S&S - Not recommended!
