I bought an Audi A3 TDi from Auto Barn in December 2012, on receiving my car I was never issued with the registration certificate of the car. This became apparent to me when I needed to change my registration disc. It has been almost if not more than six month trying to get Auto Barn to give me my registration certificate. furthermore more I took my for a check to the manufacturer (AUDI), where informed that the car was in a major accident, one of the engine pistons has a crack. I was never informed about the car being in an accident.
I remember specifically asking the salesperson Craig Tebbutt if the car was in a major accident and he said 'No'.
It is this kind of service that give dealerships a bad name. I would like to hear what the Ombudsman and the Consumer Act have to say about this?
I would like to get a response from Auto Barn on how they intend to remedy the situation first before i take any legal action against the Dealership.
I look forward to their URGENT response
