I called Swiegers Marine to find out if they could do a carburetor service on my 115 Johnson/Bombardier outboard motor. They confirmed that they where quite busy, but could definitely help me, even if it meant that they would do the work after hours that same day. I called the next morning to find out if I could fetch my boat, and was told that they hadnt started, but are starting work as we spoke. This was 8:15. I left my house (about 45 min drive away) at 9:30am. Upon arrival, my boat was still standing in the same spot I left it and the cover had not even been removed. I went inside to inquire about this and was met with a very bad attitude and more hostility than I expect from a debt collector! I was told that I had given him (Johan Swiegers jnr) attitude from the first time I called. This was not true. I was also told to take my boat and not come back.
I find that in times where work and honest, paying customers are hard to find, I was treated with dis honesty and a bad attitude and would not recommend anyone to them.
I went directly from them to Motor King and Marine. They helped me immediately with a smile and charged me way less than quoted by Swiegers.
