Delivering a vehicle that was not roadworthy

I purchased my VW Polo on 14 August 2013 and took delivery on 20 August 2013. The sales person was ever so friendly, promising me that my registration and license would be delivered to me with 7 working days. Turns out (to my surprise) that my vehicle was not roadworthy, yet was delivered to me. I finally received my license disc 1 October 2013, after having Lindsay Saker Rivonia take back my vehicle, fix what was wrong with the vehicle (the reason it never passed roadworthy in the first instance) and put back through roadworthy. This service is totally unacceptable. I purchased this vehicle cash and this was how I was treated. I dread to think how finance customers must be treated by Lindsay Saker Rivonia branch. The manager, Chris Jones, was of no assistance either. Promising me that this will be sorted out, but when feedback was required I had to call him, not the other way round. I have never in my life experienced such pathetic service in my life, and would not recommend Lindsay Saker Rivonia to anybody.
