Hyundai South Africa
Missing Back Headrests

17th Aug 2013.New I30 delivered without back seat headrests. Noticed on the 25th Sept.and reported on the same day. No immediate action was taken but Zane promised to investigate and call us on the 26th. No call. 27th went back to showroom. No help but a promise to investigate again and will call us. No call. Monday went back to showroom. Too busy to help (end of month). Will call us Tuesday 1st Oct. No call. Went back to them. Zane said Quinton was in a meeting. Then he said they would fit new headrests immediately. We must wait. About 30mins later, he said that the demo model from which they were going to remove the headrests, had gone to Cape Town to a funeral and would only be back next Wednesday. Zane said that since there is no way on earth that headrests should go missing they would be doing us a favour to replace the headrests. I then called Quinton today and his reaction was equally defensive. He is now saying that they would have to give head office a good reason why the headrests should be replaced. We feel offended and very disappointed in their reactions. So we are wondering whether they will honour their commitment to replace them by next week.
