I had taken my car to Car Time, as there was a problem and i didn't know what was wrong. I went for a test drive with the Mechanic and he himself didn't know what was wrong. I was advised they needed to do a strip and quote to find the problem. The quote came back at a ridiculous price of R35 000 (Engine coolant which is R60, was R200 on the quote). I said i cannot afford it and decided to take me car back, my engine was stripped to pieces, gearbox taken out, exhaust removed, CV's removed and all placed in my car. And on top of that i had to pay R5000 for them to do that.
My Issue is that i took a running mobile vehicle, and received spares back. No matter where i take it now, its going to be a 20 million piece jigsaw puzzle for that mechanic, and i don't have my own transport for 3 weeks now and i must be taking off work, and been docked money.
A TERRIBLE INCONVENIENCE!! EXTREMELY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!!
