I was responsible for having my car serviced late on my previous service and have to take responsibility for that one. After spending months sorting out and having the motorplan re instated when the service indicator came up on my dashboard I immediately booked the car in for a service.
When i got to the Volvo dealer CMH in Cape Town they took one look at the service manual and told me I was 2 months late. I couldn't understand why, asked why the service indicator had only come up now and could not get an answer.
Apparently Volvo will not honor the motor-plan. You have to watch your service manual and the service indicator means nothing on the car.
I am so disillusioned with the service at volvo that i have decided to get rid of the car and never buy a volvo again. I would also not recommend volvo to anyone purely from a service point of view.
