On the evening of the 25th of January 2013, I was @ the Engen garage on Goldman street in Florida. I wanted to purchase 2 packs of cigarettes and was going to use my debit card to pay for the purchase. The cashier told me the card machine is "offline". I then paid by cash.

When I got back to my car I realised I left my card @ the counter. When I went back inside the customer who was behind me in the que was paying by card :(

I would like to know is it Engen's company policy not to accept debit cards for cigarette purchases or is that the policy of Engen Goldman st. Have the staff of this establishment been instructed by management not to accept card payments on ciggaretes or...

After being to that the card machine is not working while it was, reflects very negatively on the Engen brand. The staff at any Engen establishment are the face of the Engen brand. Is this the way Engen wants the public to view their petroleum company? As liars?

I am disgusted by what happened!!!
