During 2009 I purchased a Renault Twingo from this Dealer. I was sold an extended service plan to 60 months or 75 000km whichever occurs first. The car has done 28000km and is now due for its fourth annual service which includes the replacement of the cam belt. Renault will not replace the can belt under the policy as they claim that the service plan only allows the cam belt to be replaced at 90 000km and the service plan only goes to 75 000km. They conveniently ignore the fact that the service plan is for 5 years and it has only run 4 years. They now want to refer me to company called liquid capital, which is a party with whom i never contracted and want nothing to do with.
They adamantly refuse to replace the cambelt and have accordingly reneged on their agreement. I am now compelled to take legal action - guess what I wont buy again - you guessed it no Renault for me. This is second time that I have been caught by these bogus service plans - just dont do it.
I must sue as a matter of principle.
