From beginning of the year, I've been paying weird and fluctuating amounts for my electric bill. Worse, I dont use the stove and my geyser is switched off most of the time. I travel a lot because of my work, and I'm not at home most of the time. I stay alone. During winter, I spent most of my days traveling, but the bill is too high. Next flat stays a family of 4 that is unemployed and spend the whole day at the flat. They cook regularly and they never switch off their geyser. Their bill is ALWAYS QUARTER of mine. I called Quest meters in Pretoria, spoke to a lady called LELANA. She screamed at me and gave me attitude. She tells me that my meter has been broken and she doesnt know why, they were aware of this months ago. Why didnt they fix it? Weird, there's 4 guyz that came to my flat, claiming to be from Quest Meters and were there to "change" my meter 2 months ago. Lelalna says the just take an estimate and average of the municipality bill and pass it on to me. 1.This is not fair as per customer rights bill. 2.It wasnt in my contract. 3.I've never been informed of this decision. Lelana's communicatuon skills, she is, uncivil and unable to give explanations. I'm being robbed, daylight.
