Poor service, bad attitude, and no value

I took my car in for a service on Monday at Speedy Fourways. Before taking it in I called Frans and asked how much, and he said its R400 for the labour plus parts. I supplied the oil, the plugs and the filters. I dropped the car off, which was the ONLY CAR in the shop. I called a few hours later to find out what defects had been found, and Frans told me the fuel filter I bought didn't fit the car, at which point he said that the labour would be more than R400 because my car was in the shop longer than an hour. When I arrived at the workshop I asked what had been done to the car - only oil change, and 2 spark plugs fitted.

No checks were done at all, nothing. No inspection of the vehicle, and no real value add at all. Frans then continued to haggle me about the quoted R400, saying that now he had to wait for the parts. Again, nothing was done to the car except to drain the oil and put in a oil filter, and 2 spark plugs.

I refused to pay any more than R400. Frans was extremely rude, and didn't even acknowledge me. He just grabbed the cash and walked away without making eye contact. I'm really disappointed in the value of the service, the price I paid, and the way I was treated.
