At the end of May we moved out of our house. Two trucks arrived promptly and all was picked up, inventoried and loaded in record time. We were thrilled with the efficiency and attitude of the Amazing team. Our goods were placed in storage by Amazing and then moved to our new house on 1 July. This is where it all went wrong.
The truck arrived nearly an hour late and I had, had to call to ask where they were.
It was a smaller truck and when I asked where the second truck was I was told there was only one available. They would offload and go back for the rest of the goods.
The offloading went slower than in any of our many previous moves - the team had no energy.
They then left to load up the balance at the warehouse. 3 hours later they hadn't returned. I couldn't get hold of anyone on the phone. At 6.30pm they eventually returned & unpacked in the dark.
Three pieces of furniture were damaged and have had to be replaced by our insurance.
It took ten days and three requests to get our storage deposit returned.
What a sad experience especially when they showed such promise in the beginning.
